In addition, the Council of Guardamar de la Safor proceeded to the removal of all Carpobrotus plants present in the "Motes" of this one municipal term. WE START THE RECYCLAEDUCA ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT TO PROMOTE THE OBJECTIVES OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE GUARDAMAR DE LA SAFOR AGENDA 2030.

Let's start the project with the cap challenge. We will leave a box at the entrance of the town hall where the whole population will deposit their caps to be recycled and in a while we will collect the box to grind these caps and process them and thus obtain the raw material to manufacture the sustainability bank .

GREEN OFFICE

theMunicipal Green Office it is a service that is carried out in a form personalized to the residents habitually a Guardamar de la Safor in order to boost theenergy saving and theuse of renewable energies to encourage a sustainable development in Guardamar de la Safor.

This project has been funded for the Provincial Council of Valencia in the framework of earmarked subsidies in municipalities that have a population equal to or less than 50,000 inhabitants and smaller local entities of the province of Valencia for the promotion, promotion i disclosure of the social responsibility.

Fields of operation of the Green Office:

  • Municipal facilities or buildings with the purpose of reduce energy expenditure and improve theefficiency in the facilities.
  • Citizen advice. Offers to the residents of Guardamar de la Safor, as well as to shops i industries located in Guardamar de la Safor, for optimize energy procurement, reduce costs i increase efficiency at the same time

ACQUISITION OF AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE

Guardamar de la Safor is moving towards a sustainable future! We received help thanks to the Royal decree 692/2021, which supports local projects ofclean energy in municipalities with demographic challenges, through the DUS 5000 program.

DUS 5000 project:

  • Acquisition of an electric vehicle 100% (with scrapping) for the municipal vehicle fleet.
  • Installation of a 22 kW electric charging station for use by the local entity.

  • Cost (VAT included): 35.500€
  • Charging station: 22 kW
  • Cost (VAT included): 15.366,62€

Total project cost: 54.818,65€
DUS 5000 Program grant: €46,595.85 (85% of the total cost)
