ECONOMIC AID FOR ANIMAL WELFARE 2025

The Valencia Provincial Council has granted a subsidy to the City Council of Guardamar de la Safor for an amount of €785.33 intended for the acquisition of investments aimed at complying with the obligations arising from the current regulations on the protection of animal rights and welfare. (Law 7/2023, of March 28, on the protection of animal rights and welfare, and Law 2/2023, of March 13, of the Generalitat, on the Protection, Welfare and Keeping of Companion Animals and other animal welfare measures, establish these obligations for local administrations.)

With the granting of this aid, a positive impact is expected, which is concrete, on the one hand, in contributing to lightening the burden of expenditure that regulatory compliance requires from local administrations and, on the other, in progressively improving the tools available to local entities to comply with animal welfare regulations, allowing the management of animals by the administrations to be increasingly safer for both people and animals.
